The Kerala High Court has ,as recent as two months ago, recomented to the Govt to ament the Kerala Registration of Marriages Rules to prohibit registration of contractual marriages.
Registration under the Special Marriages Act requires one months notice and that either the man or the woman should have lived in the area under the jurisdiction of the marriage officer(the sub registrar officer) for at least two months.
My advice is get the marriage legal by Special Marriage Act. ....IF U have NO
